I Want My LGBTV is a performance art piece reimagining TV production with a Queer DIY ethos at the forefront. The performance goes through every aspect of the tv shoot including set building, hair & make up, rehearsals, lunch, a live taping and takedown. The Iwant2beonTV collective will be shooting the “Hot Mess Hotline” segment, a drop-in relationship advice hotline for queers, for the next episode of the ongoing video art project, “The Alex A*********s Show”. Whether one chooses to participate in the live audience or view the whole performance, the space is made available to give viewers access to the behind-the-scenes of the production.
