In today’s world, every artist plays a different and necessary part in contributing to the health and development of our society. They also give thoughtful critique to our political, economic and social systems which pushes communities to engage thoughtfully and make steps toward social progress. This round table will address issues on accessibility, inaccessibility and immigration, and how these subjects are present in the participants’ artistic practices. The participants will discuss how arts and culture are catalysts of relational phenomena and how they allow to transcend social, cultural, ethnic and linguistic differences.
